Information handled
Hosting and security services receive ordinary request information such as IP address, browser details, time and requested URL; their retention is governed by their services. An authenticated preview may include a platform user identifier. If you email us, we receive your email address, message and any details you choose to include to review and respond to your request. Previously submitted form requests may remain in the private owner inbox under the retention policy below. Do not include identity documents, sensitive personal details or wallet secrets.
Public X data
Moon Atlas uses the official X API to find public posts about DOG on Bitcoin, review relevant people and calculate a monthly edition over a common 30-day window. We process public account identifiers, names, usernames, profile images, biographies, follower counts, post identifiers, excerpts, languages, dates and public like, reply, repost and quote counts. Public data may still be personal data. We do not infer sensitive traits, trade on your behalf or send posts or messages to X. This use remains subject to X-policy review.
Choices on your device
Language, theme and view settings use local storage. Your DOG quantity is stored on your device only if you select Remember; it is not sent in our analytics events and calculator sharing omits it by default. Links you explicitly choose to share may become visible to recipients. External X posts stay off until you allow X. YouTube videos open on YouTube; thumbnail images may load from YouTube’s image servers. Media choices are separate from optional Google Analytics consent and can be withdrawn using Media preferences. Withdrawal stops future loading here; it cannot undo requests already received by a provider.
Providers and storage
Market data is retrieved through our server from CoinGecko, with CoinPaprika used for Bitcoin fallback data; DOG DATA supplies distribution information. Static images, avatars, logos and fonts may be requested from their hosting providers even with players off. X embeds, when allowed, contact X. YouTube thumbnail images contact Google’s image servers; following a video link opens YouTube under its own policies. Optional Google Analytics loads only after its separate opt-in, if configured. Hosting logs and security processing operate independently of that choice. We do not promise all third-party requests are blocked.
Cloudflare Web Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics on the main app and My DOG to measure visits, page views and loading performance. Cloudflare says this service does not use cookies or local storage for analytics and does not track individual visitors across sites. We do not pass your DOG balances, purchase cost, targets, exit-plan notes, card name or form contents to the beacon. This measurement is separate from optional Google Analytics, which remains off unless configured and separately allowed. The beacon is not included on our legal or owner-administration pages. Browser privacy protections may block measurement.
Retention and requests
Shared Atlas editions are available for up to 30 days. Our maintenance removes stored editions and raw discovery posts older than 35 days, with orphaned discovery records removed alongside them. Maintenance runs on site activity or an owner-triggered maintenance run; continuous cleanup during inactivity still requires a schedule. Closed request records are removed after 90 days; open requests remain until reviewed. Rate-limit hashes expire after 24 hours. Minimal account identifiers may be retained to honor a verified exclusion. Provider logs and backups follow their own retention. Contact us to request access, correction, removal, objection or other applicable rights. We verify requests proportionately and do not guarantee that every right applies in every jurisdiction.
My DOG — Your data lives in this browser
Your DOG quantity, purchase cost, targets and exit plan notes are saved only in this browser on this device. They are not sent to our servers or analytics. There is no account or automatic sync. Your optional card name is also saved only in this browser. Your data may be lost if you clear browser or site data, use private browsing, uninstall the browser, or if your browser removes stored data. It will not appear in a different browser, browser profile, phone or computer. We cannot recover it for you. Download a backup and restore it where you need it. Local storage is not an encrypted vault. Anyone with access to this browser may see your saved amounts. Hiding amounts only masks the screen. Never enter a seed phrase, private key or password here.
